Mad Arts, JASPAL BHATTI FILM SCHOOL is India’s first comedy school, where the art of creating and performing comedy is taken very seriously. It is an ideology-based school that aims to give the student an insight into the intricacies involved in the genre of Comedy.

Although our specialization is comedy, this doesn’t mean we don’t teach serious dramatic techniques. Our school is complete in film and television training.

Jaspal Bhatti a well known humorist and one of India’s most popular social satirists, heads Mad Arts. He is the man behind several all time hit TV shows, like Flop Show, Ulta Pulta, Full Tension and the super hit film Jija Ji. He has acted in Various Bollywood Films with Top Actors such as Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai.

He is also a founder of India First Humour Club – Nonsense Club. The Club has completed over 25 years .

Mad Arts has produced several award winning short films including Nanhi Chidiya and Bunty’s Tree, which have won several awards at prestigious film festivals.

V ) Mad Arts is the first film school in the country which has produced a TV show for national television (SONY -SAB TV)

 It recently produced ‘Thank you Jija Ji’ for Sony SAB T.V. All of our deserving acting, direction and editing students worked on the show and gained a one-of-a-kind, real-life practical experience.
