Acting requires you to be at the top of your mental as well as physical level all the time.  Acting demands a great sense of Timing, Characterization, Discipline, Fitness and Observation.

We here at Mad Arts have built a totally practical curriculum, which involves intensive workshops, and enactments that will take you towards our common goal of making you a seasoned actor. Our acting students will learn the performing art by taking aid from professional studio sets, lighting setups and camera information. The tenets of both voice and body language will be taught in detail with inputs of Yoga, Music, Stunts and Film dance. We will also aim at enhancing the actor’s spectrum of knowledge by teaching the application of makeup, and costumes.

During the course the actor will take part in a lot of exciting in-house projects, which will be condensed and presented to the students in form of his individual portfolio. Monologues, skits, enactments, interviews, hosting for stage and television, news reading will give the student immense camera confidence. The actor will also learn the basic tenets of dubbing.

  • ACTION REACTION CONCEPT
    Actor or performers start to make believe audience by emoting. Reaction to the action uplifts the action.
  • VOICE CULTURE & DICTION
    Voice exercises to improve the quality of voice for listener effectiveness. Lessons to enhance reading skills will also be imparted.
  • BODY LANGUAGE
    Creates impression, expression and allows audience to understand artistic movement on screen.
  • CHARACTERIZATION
    Understanding your role and characters to the extent that you become the character.
  • YOGA
    Stimulates body, mind and soul for reaching heights of discipline, agility and stamina.
  • DANCE FOR FILMS
    Learn about basic dance forms that are currently required in the industry. This will cover the basic techniques to catch the basic beat and co-ordinate your movement and expressions accordingly.
  • STUNTS AND FIGHTS
    Enhances excitement, amusement and presents thrills to the viewer for action drama.
  • ENACTMENTS & WORKSHOPS
    Develops dramatic skills for the artist’s performance on screen.
  • FILM ANALYSIS & FILM APPRECIATION
    Learn the art of ‘how to study a film’ from some of the masterpieces of cinema. Learn to listen and appreciate the skills of some of the industry greats.
  • BASICS OF DUBBING

With the opening of Multiplexes and various entertainment channels the opportunities for an actor have multiplied. What the coming of Multiplexes has done is that it has created a market for small budget films, which provide a big platform to budding new artists. Entertainment channels have various types for programs running catering to different types of audiences. So there are daily soaps, reality shows, music based shows, entertainment shows, stand-up shows and much more. Actors also lend their voices for dubbing. They may also come in as film school teachers if they have the zeal to teach So the opportunities have actually increased tremendously.
