COURSE PERIOD : 4 MONTHS ( Mon-Sat from 10 AM to 4PM )

The director is the person who tells to you story on screen. That means he should know every aspect of film making.

Our Direction course is constituted in a manner, which explains the entire film process from idea generation to the point when the actual film is made. Students will also be taught techniques which will help them make best use of actors and the technical crew.

Students will be taught film grammar, shot compositions with the help of our specially designed tutorials. Students will get to handle a variety of projects, which will enrich their versatility as directors.

Great directors cannot be made in just three months but we show you the path, teach the basic techniques and sharpen your skills to command the show.

How the written script will look on the cinema or television screen in the visual form.

FILM GRAMMAR

Make’s one to understand the rules of the film language by which a story is told through pictures and sound on screen.

CAMERA AND LIGHTING TECHNIQUES

Understanding different lights and their intensity for applied creativity.

SHOT COMPOSITIONS

This deals with all the compositional rules, which enhance the visual mood of the scene.

SHOT DIVISION

Will explain the duration and correct cutting point of interplay in shot.

SCREENWRITING

Understanding the fundamentals of screenwriting so that a story could be told in pictures and sound in an effective way.

DIRECTING ACTORS

Will make you to understand an actor’s capacity, talent, limitation and motivation factor for maximum peak performance.

CODE OF PRODUCTION

How a production cycle comes into function from idea to complete product reaching to viewer.

FILM ANALYSIS & FILM APPRECIATION

Learn the art of ‘how to study a film’ from some of the masterpieces of cinema.

EXCITING PROJECTS

SUCH AS SHORT FILM DIRECTION This will provide you with complete art, craft, skill and techniques of filmmaking.
