Anoop Sharma

(Dean – Mad Arts School)

Double Gold Medalist from the Department of Indian Theatre, Punjab University

He has also written several plays. His work includes plays like Kafan, Sadgati and many more. He has also been conducting many voice and speech workshops for theatre as well.

Anoop Sharma has also been a part of various prestigious filmmaking projects which incude Vaisa Bhi Hota Hai Part II, Sehar, Main Madhuri Dixit Banna Chahati Hoon , Mission Mumbai and Satya Bole.

10 years of Cartooning Experience for the Tribune

Gold Medalist in Cartooning from DAV College -10, Chandigarh.

Bronze Medal Winner at the Cultural Olympics in Documentary Film-making held in South Korea.

Directed ‘Bunty’s Tree’ , a short 6 min animation film which won the Award of Merit at the Best Shorts Competition in Los Angles 2011.

Has Directed over 20 short Films.

Directed ‘ Nanhi Chidiya‘ a short animation film on Female Foeticide, which won the Best Story IDPA Award (Indian Documentary Producer’s Association )  in Mumbai.

Directed a Short 17 min film on under age driving called  ’ Ladla Driver ‘ which screened at Katha, Asian Film Festival in India Habitat Center, New Delhi.

Was the Creative Director for the Serial ‘ Thank You Jija ji‘ for SONY – SAB T.V.

Has directed many Television Commercials for clients such as PSEB, Diplast etc

Did work (2 years) for a U.K. based Pvt. Company, (Oil Painting, Pencil Drawing, pastel Painting).

Did Pencil Drawings for Madhuban Police Academy, Haryana for their 1857 based Museum in year 2008. Did Oil Paintings for “RanglaPunjab (Haweli), Jalandhar”.
